Somebody please tell me what this is

Wha...? Just saw this near my home in Lincoln Park.

Someone- help me here. What the heck is a 'men's residence'? This area seems very random for a guys-only hostel.

Thoughts?

    it's close to boystown... why is it bad to have it there?

    I must say the name is circumspect though
